Update to 2.19.5. In the NEWS:

deskbar-applet 2.19.5
=====================
First release of the Google Summer of Code branch maintained by Sebastian
Pölsterl. This release features major refactoring including a new GUI and
Modules API. Therefore, old modules won't work with this version. No new
big features are included, but this release should contain almost all the
features that Deskbar had before refactoring.

So.. Keep in mind for it might be unstable, missing modules or so.
