With the gtk fullscreen api things can be cleaner: use the api instead of

With the gtk fullscreen api things can be cleaner:
use the api instead of chromes to handle fullscreen,
dont persist window state when it's fullscreen.
Destroy exit fullscreen button on window destroy.

Give up on cloning until we find a good way to do it :/
